Happy Ice Cream

"Happy Ice Cream" by Mika Kawamura 3 volumes-complete Misaki started seeing strange little kids and boys when she moved in to her sister. It's a magical, vintage manga for shota fans.

Genius House

"Genius House" by Akane Ogura oneshot-complete Kamiya steps in for her sick grandmother in managing a house full of geniuses. The art style is neat and the plot would have been a good material for a longer story so I felt like it's a waste that it's just a oneshot.

Hana Yori Dango Final

"Hana Yori Dango Fainaru" 131 mins. release date: June 28, 2008 Makino and Tsukasa are now engaged and as a family tradition Makino receives the tiara heirloom. But the tiara was stolen and thus the two will travel halfway around the world to recover it. The movie drew down the curtain for the TV version of 'Hana Yori Dango' that ran for two seasons. As I was watching I was confident on who was the enemy and the accomplices, but I was only halfway right. The mastermind and the truth behind the fuss isn't who I was expecting. But what I really love is everything that took place after all the hoopla. The F4 surprise to them- the place, the guests...I was a bit teary eyed for a few seconds...The perfect ending! I was just puzzled with Hanazawa Rui...in gold...erm just watch the movie...hehe! And I also love how the picture frame morphed. Some minor, minor details that I need to blurt out: First, her little brother is so not little anymore haha; second, Maki

Saiunkoku Monogatari Second Series

"Saiunkoku Monogatari Second Series" - 39 episodes complete Shurei will face many trials as an official while the Emperor will face more responsibilities and loyalty issues. The second season is basically divided into two major arcs. There will be new allies, enemies and characters who doesn't fit on either categories. Some of the bishies will also realize their feelings for Shurei. Welcome to the club! I'm really disappointed with the second season. The story is trying to be too cryptic and Shurei and Rui were apart for most of the time. I felt like it was too stretched. Plus the certain villain I was looking forward to only had a cameo. :( The third season be better be good if there will be one. The opening and closing themes songs are still the same.

Hanatsukihime

Hanatsukihime by Wataru Hibiki 2 volumes-ongoing Lys has a flower mark in her chest as proof that the devil owns her heart. In exchange for the beating heart he will take her life when she turns 16. The twist completely caught me off guard. Ohh can't wait! Too early to tell if it's reverse harem but she has a knack of attracting the attention of one local in each town they visit. The art is beautifully detailed but the characters looks distorted at certain angles.

Freshest Rumors: BBF Remakes

At the height of 'Boy Before Flowers' success, rumors of remakes have sprout like Chinese and Philippine versions. But Group 8, the Korean producers, have released the news that manga publisher, Shueisha Inc will not be releasing the rights for remake for the next two years. More info from allkpop.

Paradise Cafe

Gokujou no Yoru wo Ageru ("Paradise Cafe") by Fuji Morita 1 volume-complete Emi is the only female worker in the cafe. It's short, sweet and simple and the first oneshot in the series. The bishies are hawt but the girl is just so-so (but love her hair). Thanks to Janinemomo for the tip!

Crown

'Crown' story by Shinji Wada art by Yuu Higuri 6 volumes-complete Mahiro is reunited with her long-lost brother right at the same time the evil queen found out about her whereabouts. The story is written by a male mangaka so expect some bloody action. Don't worry it still has its' shojo- ness . I've only read until chapter 2 but based on some reviews and the character profiles from Go! Comi site as well it might turn out to be reverse harem. Thanks to Hannah for recommending this.

Yoru Cafe

"Yoru Cafe" ("Night Cafe") by Maki Enjouji 3 volumes-complete A widow becomes the owner of cafe as part of her late husband's will.
