News Round Up: Akatsuki no Yona to be animated, TATBILB movie adaptation, English Ozmafia and more

The shoujo manga "Akatsuki no Yona" will be animated. It's about a princess who escapes after her father was killed by someone very close to her. From ANN. (I have read this but haven't had time to pick it up again and a lot of people have been suggesting this. Okay, this is now on my priority list to read.)

The film rights for young adult novel, "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" has been bought. More info from Deadline. Taken via Jenny Han's twitter.

The otome game, "Ozmafia", will get an official English version. It's mafia meets bishified scarecrow, tinman and lion. More info from Crunchyroll.

This is an old news but here's another couple that ended up together thanks to reverse harem. The stars of "Ooku~ Eien~ Emonnosuke Tsukayoshi Hen", Sakai Masato & Kanno Miho, started dating after the film was released and eventually registered their marriage license last year. From Tokyohive.

I cannot express how ready I am for AKATSUKI NO YONA OMGEEEE I love that manga! You should definitely pick it up again; you won't regret it! And I'm so excited about Ozmafia omfg I read the manga; it's not that great but I mean, an English otome game is rarer than a reverse harem anime, am I right? And I think "To all the Boys I've Loved Before" is going to the top of my reading list. So much news makes me so excited!! Summer 2014 is gonna be great.

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?
