Go Dok-mi is a shut in or a modern-da Rapunzel who finds herself surrounded by nosy, goodlooking flower boy neighbors. This is the third of TVN's 'Oh Boy' Flower Boy series after Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Shut up Flower Boy Band. TVN is really milking the power of the reverse harem flower boy concept. The teasers, the title, the storyline and everything is screaming 100% reverse harem but it's actually not! This is the first time a drama really went all out with packaging itself as reverse harem.

The characters are all very creatively-inclined. We've got an editor, game developer, webtoon artists and a chef. I like how they inject all their nuances as recurring themes all throughout the series. The poetry, the webtoons, post it notes, game board, cooking class etc..heck I even love the mall owner's fashion. But with all it's artistry I didn't find any romantic chemistry at all even with the two leading men. Zilch. What a waste of use of Park Shin Hye and flower boy concept. This is supposed to be her second RH after You're Beautiful. I also find it hard to believe that for someone so freaky frugal she has the latest smartphone all thanks to a product placement. Even Enrique pointed out that she had the latest TV but he failed to mention the phone who is so distractingly out of her character all throughout the series. And just like the Flower Boy Ramyum Shop, I also love the sub-story between the editor. Cute. I'll end this review now and file this under...related!

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
