Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss) - 12 episodes The second season of Kamisama Hajimemashita continues with Nanami's misadventures as a land deity. The story can be divided into three arcs: Nanami attends the annual gathering of the gods. Nanami goes to Mount Kurama and Nanami goes to the New Year shrine god. And the suspicious-looking guy from the OVA is officially introduced as the villain of the story. 

Gugure Kokkuri-San - 12 episodes Kohina is an elementary student who lives alone and on ramen. One day she summoned a fox spirit and it vowed to haunt her after seeing her desolate conditions. It becomes a haunting party in a different sense of word when other spirits join in.     A girl living with three males is easily a reverse harem but alas the anime series is far from it. The term "three males" is a generic word for these three suspicious characters. First, the two are really old for the little girl. Like maybe centuries old. Second, the other two can transform to their female forms. Yup, optional. And it's weirder that transforming to their animal forms is much more natural over their female forms in the reverse harem setup. Nail Shop Paris - 10 episodes Hong Yeo Joo is an internet novelist dedicated to the lore of gumihos. To get inspiration, she tailed a guy and ended up pretending as a boy in a nail shop with flower boy nail artists. For flower boys + work, we had coffee shop, ramyun shop and now we have a nail shop. The weird thing is they decided to pair the gender bender + flower boy with supernatural theme of gumihos. But I love the idea of flower boy nail artists. Girls would be swooning with handsome guys holding their hands. But the reverse harem ends there. The romance setup was a love triangle. But even with just 2 guys, the drama made me doubt myself several times of who'll she end up with.  It had it's 3 or 4 great cliffhangers but I was not  100% emotionally hooked. There where three factors. 1) The acting of heroine, Park Gyu Ri. She only have one expression! 2) The storyline and sub-plots are so random.   The Thousandth Man / Chunbunjjae Namja - 8 episodes Mi Jin is a gumiho, a nine-tailed fox, who must devour 1,000 livers from men in a millennium to become human or else she will disappear like a bubble. But she will only take it from a man who truly loves her and is willing to offer it to her. Will she get her thousandth man/liver before her time runs out? It's not a straight up reverse harem but if she haven't eaten all the 999 men she would have a very big harem! Of course, not all of them lived in the same era. The first half of the series did show candidates of men to fill the thousandth spot so we can still tag this under "related". It was light and fun but it just not one of my favorite dramas. But the series is short so it wasn't tedious to watch. This might be a bit spoiler-ish but with all its fun and lightness, the drama ended in a sad note which make me feel a bit empty. Not in a negative way, but in a way it haunts me and makes me sad ...
