Princess Sophia is a spoiled princess of Vesperang. Then overnight everything will be taken from her and the princess becomes a maid in the neighboring kingdom, Norterang. In Norterang there are five brothers: Alex, the cold eldest prince; Luka, the second prince loyal to Alex only; Cecil, the third prince with unknown motives, and the fourth prince Darcy who is sickly. There's a fifth brother not in the picture, the youngest prince Harry.
The start of the story is reminiscent of how Akatsuki no Yona started but instead of going with Hak she was taken by Su-Won. But that's how far it goes in terms of similarities and it's a different story of its own. Sophia's strength is her cleverness. It's not super battling of the wits but I enjoyed how the story banked on that. I feel for her when she's being bullied but she hangs on and proved herself. It's good too that it didn't dwell much on the bullying part of her as a maid.
Overall, the webcomic is fast-paced, and although not full-on fun it's hilarious every now and then. There is some stuff that just didn't make sense. Like why would you let a maid guard her and not guards and contrived scenes for the main couple like suddenly appearing out of the blue when she gets stung by the bee. They are always in each other's case in every turn.
And now the important question. It is a reverse harem or not? The cover is hinting or rather screaming a reverse harem. As of chapter 37, it's maybe two or three flowers under Levels of Reverse Harem. Even though the story is fast-paced, the romance is a slow burn. We get flashes of something when the main guy does something uncharacteristic like suddenly saying the lace is ugly when he's jealous or throwing a book to his brother for giving him away. That's the time I find him irresistibly cute. His wall of defense may seem impregnable but I can't wait for it to fall down. The other two guys can still develop into something more definite, while the other one hates her. Harry can do the obligatory glow-up sometime in the far away future but that's beside the point. It's disappointing that it wasn't a full-blown reverse harem especially with that cover. But the story is still ongoing so it makes sense that it's taking its time for character development. Insert that Anakin and Pademe meme: It is still going to be a reverse harem, right? Right?!
This is available in different webcomics sites/app like Tapas, Verticomix, Webcomicsapp, Copin Comics, and INKR. I was able to read for free when I downloaded Webcomicsapp. At that time you get 24 hours free access. Right now it's currently at chapter 58 and I'm not sure if that promotion is still available. Should I continue with the webcomic? Please consider pledging or tipping to help me review your next-future-favorite titles. This is the last of the three-part series of Reverse Harem or Not a Reverse Harem with Those Not-So-Sweet Boys Vol. 1 (manga) and As The Villainess, I Reject These Happy-Bad Endings! (light novel) How did you find the reviews?
