Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu (My Brother Loves Me Too Much) - 5 episodes

Setoka Tabichana has been dumped 12 times! And on top of that, her brother, Haruka, is overprotective of her. But her bad luck with guys is about to turn around. Or is about to gets worse? This is based on the manga of the same name by Rina Yagami.

I originally thought the reverse harem setup was the 12 guys she's confessed with, which is the complete opposite of reverse harem. But it turns out it will be the beginning of true reverse harem especially when they confront each other in the last part of the series. It will most likely continue in the movie which was released last June but I have not watched it yet. And will probably serves as background story or introductions of the characters in the movie.

I noticed that the top 3 contenders all have siblings of which are all friends with each other. Since it's too obvious, let's spill the beans already. I'm not a fan of the fauxcest. But I love the stepbrothers trope if they are all aware that they're not biologically related like in Brothers Conflict and the case later on with Hot Gimmick. No favorite guy but the brother is cute but too scrawny. When he fought with the thugs, it wasn't believable.

There are many scenes which makes me cringe, particularly the teacher's. I was wondering why there was a teacher in the wallies, oh gawd please let him not be a part of the harem in the movie. But he's funny. I watch so many kdrama nowadays that I'm not used to Japanese humor in dramas anymore. I think one of the characters though like the other guy and not the heroine.

And can you guess which two actors also starred from reverse harem jdrama, Ouran High Shcool Host Club? The first one is easy, it's the doctor, Yudai Chiba who played Haninozuka. And the second one is...the heroine, Tai Tsuchiya who played Renge! Their house beside the sea also reminds me of tdrama, Happy 300 Days.

The drama ends in a note that makes you look forward to watch the movie.

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
