First Impressions: No Going Back Romance and Unique Lady/Lascivious Lady Season 2 eps 1-3

No Going Back Romance kdrama- 10 episodes

So Dam was sleeping in the classroom but she remembers someone confessing to her. She's now trying to figure out who among her three classmates is in love with her.

It is short and easy to watch. It's only 10 episodes with 12 minutes run time. The heroine is so young and innocent-looking that I want to put her inside my pocket. The president is cute but so was the locker guy. There are so many sweet and spicy situations even if it's super short. The only reason I'm not in a hurry to watch it is because of my backlog for fall and winter huhu There were just so random scenes from episodes 2 and 3 which I don't know what the purpose for. The short airtime I guess made it seem so out of the blue. I'm surprised that we don't have much of this trope but if you are looking for something similar I recommend a drama which I have not watched (LOL) but I think the premise is the same, Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong.

Unique Lady/Lascivious Lade Season 2 cdrama- 27 episodes

Lin Luo Jing is still inside the otome game she got sucked into. The object of the game is to find true love among four characters. With a rival consort and another conflict brewing in the kingdom, she can't afford to make any mistakes as she has already used up her last life and on last save point. Warning: If you are a fan of this drama please do not proceed further. Imma hurt your feelings. I was feeling positive at the start but before the first episode is even over, all my feelings of why I didn't like it came flooding back to me.

It came as surprise when there's news that there will be a sequel this year. Even more surprised when it came out earlier on Christmas. Thankfully there's a recap that reminded me how the ethereal guy faded away when he saved her because I actually forgot this vital part. The new guy in the poster seems like a replacement of the said guy. The main guy and rich guy have decent acting chops but I realized now that it's the story and the supporting cast that really gets into my nerves. The story is all over the place and the minor casts are overacting or comical. I think for one to appreciate this is to treat this as comedy. My least favorite guy for acting...the Persian has minimal scene so far so I can spare him for now. The only saving grace is the main guy. Aside from his acting, he's just so handsome like Lee Min Ho level handsome! The actress will make you green with envy with all the kissing they have and we only just started with 24 episodes to go. But I can't guarantee if it's enough for me to finish it because the first season felt like forever to finish with 45-minute runtime for each episode.

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
