Amnesia - 12 episodes

A girl wakes up on August 1 with no memories and she meets a guy claiming to be her boyfriend and a floating fairy that only she can see.

Okay so the girl is a pushover, but I like the idea that we can relate to the character at a first person point of view as we really have no idea where the story is going to. Everything is a clean slate. And it's so weird that they never mentioned her name or did I just miss it? I was caught off guard with the how the reverse harem element was played and the relevance of the date. They've given some tiny hints about it. I also love how the characters shined in their own right and for the first time I equally love all of them in their dark and sometimes twisted ways. If It was me I would be really confused to which route I would choose. I find the plot and the characterization cleverly written but in the end it was it's own downfall. All the build up and then it abruptly ends. It's good that there's still sequels of the otome, so there's hope for a second and maybe third seasons. The story, the music and some of the clothes are very gothic but the color palettes and frilly clothes softens it up. For me it's a winning combination for the overall visual treat and mood.

There's also another reverse harem a with similar theme of amnesia and guys claiming to be boyfriend/s. You may want to check out Japanese movie, "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac"

Ahaha, I really loved this anime, really mind blowingly confusing with great art and a good storyline going on, well, to me at least :P

I watched this Anime last year on August 1st!! Coincedentally!! I was so shocked when I noticed the same date lol I also think this anime is very unique and I LOVED it all the way!! Going to go and watch it now again! ^_^

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I was flexible with many titles where it's only one or two guys interested in the female protagonist and other gray areas. But we are now at a point where I can be strict with labeling reverse harem. I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
