X-Men Misfits Volume 1 (3 chapters) story by Raina Telgemeier and Dave Roman Art by Anzu

Kitty Pryde feels like a freak with her powers. But when she gets invited to Xavier School, it gets weirder when she learns that she's the first female student. Plus the Hellfire Club made her their exotic pet/ official mascot. This is the first graphic novel that I bought. :) I'm such a fan as a kid since Uncannny X-Men cartoons. At first, I feel like I was reading Toon Titans or something. The manga-fication of the characters are interesting to look at. So far the weirdest looking was Colossus, they made him look like harmless bicentennial man with a mustache. My favorite Storm became a punk teacher in mohawk while all the guys became bishies including Nightcrawler and oh except for Professor Xavier. :D Their personalities changed too and they get creative with the other uses of Danger Room. It's kinda fast paced (particularly the boyfriend thingy) and gets serious at the end. The next volume teases of other girls who'll be enrolling in the school.

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I was flexible with many titles where it's only one or two guys interested in the female protagonist and other gray areas. But we are now at a point where I can be strict with labeling reverse harem. Let's start with the classification of reverse harem-ness. This is for my sake too if in case I run off course again. 1. Five Flowers - This is literally reverse harem. I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
