My favorite when I first started watching anime was Fushigi Yuugi, and for years, I searched for another anime that could capture the same magic, but nothing came close.  Then, almost a decade later, in January 2007, a random watch led to the same lightbulb moment. It's the iconic line of Kirimi: “It’s a reverse harem in here!”, in Ouran High School Host Club. That sparked nine months of reverse harem anime marathon, and once I’d watched them all, I launched this blog. Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp anime - 12 episodes based on webnovel Elise is a spoiled princess who is executed and reincarnated in modern Earth. 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy anime-12 episodes- based on a light novel  Rishe Irmgard Weitzner is now on her 7th life after always being killed in one way or another by Prince Arnold Hein. And with some new insights.  7th Time Loop is entertaining and exciting.  It makes you think of the possibilities and the interconnections.  Her past six lives were summarized without being long-winded but just enough to pique our curiosity. The critical timing of each action or decision will lead to different outcomes or probable "romance routes". Or so I thought. No reverse harem romance but there's a bishonen for each life. The Demon Prince of Momochi House 12 episodes - based on manga Himari Momochi inherits a house but finds it inhabited by a young master, Nue and his two attendants: Yukari and Ise.  This is a mix of my first impression here on the blog and mini-impressions and mini-review from Patreon. And with some new insights.  The cohabitation and the setting is like Fruits Basket meets Kamisama Hajimemashita. But I spoke too soon in the First Impression when I thought Aoi's past was sad. The rest of the characters' backstories are sad, one after another. But it's a kind of sad that makes you want to protect them all. And it always leaves you with hope and living in the present and moving forward. It has a slice-of-life feel in the countryside albeit with supernatural twists at the end of the day. Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion Episodes 1-3 Hanasaki Rinko gets into her dream university but she is literally pushed into a different world. She is reborn into Raeliana McMillan, a supporting character inside a novel who will die soon. Now, how did she end up in the Duke's mansion? The way she forged her path with Duke Noah Wynknight piqued my interest. There's no romance yet which is fine. The chemistry between the two is still brewing. They are not enemies but they are not allies either...yet. There are gun references too in the opening and we can see her handling one, which makes me wonder how this will play out in the story. Romantic Killer 12 episodes Anzu's greatest loves of her life are chocolates, video games, and cats. Then one day the wizard Riri confiscates all three and turns her life into an otome game. She must fall in love for her life to go back to normal. I haven't had this fun in a reverse harem anime since My Next Life as a Villainess but it's more fitting to group this with other highschool comedy Ouran High School Host Club and Kiss Him, Not Me . There's a lot of slapstick humor for my liking but Anzu's non-heroine comical forms will make you chuckle. All the forced encounters with the ikemen end up as hilarious.  It went away with the usual isekai otome game that is all the rage right now.  No villainess reincarnation too.  In fact, the reverse happened. It brought the otome game elements into Anzu's life and ditched the isekai part. There's no invisible hand of the game. It's just Riri magically manipulating things much to Anzu's annoyance.  Although...
