My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The Movie anime
S1 Synopsis: Some people may treat life like a game, but when young noblewoman Catarina Claes accidentally bumps her head, she has a horrifying revelation. Forewarned and forearmed with the multiple plots of the game in mind, Catarina sets out to re-code her fate. Can she not do what she would have done, befriend people she'd never befriend, and change her entire outlook on life? And will even that be enough to roleplay her way out of her destiny? She's literally in the game of her life in MY NEXT LIFE AS A VILLAINESS: ALL ROUTES LEAD TO DOOM!

Aug 7, 2023 Ep 1-3 The first two episodes were just so-so, as it's another I regained my memories, and I'm trying to alter the routes again. But by episode 3, what do you know? I was really entertained, and it is far from the reincarnation isekai I have watched/read so far. I wasn't trying to get my hopes too high with my disappointment from Raeliana, but now I can't wait to continue watching it. I'm still questioning my past self, how I have come to a decision that it might be a reverse hare,m but the ending credits seemed to squash my doubts. Let's wait and see.
Sep 5, 2023 Ep 4-8- I was so hyped from the third episode, and I'm back to "just right" again. I can't stand the cheesy parts, but it's still enjoyable, especially when she uses her knowledge from the game at the last minute. The timing is flawless. And I love the inserts of the original game storyline coming up as dreams, their powers, and their names. And for the first time, I kind of imagine myself enjoying reading the light novel.
Oct 8, 2023 Ep 9-12 complete- Overall, the anime is really entertaining, and again, especially when hidden powers are introduced when it's crunch time. The last arc was not what I expected, but in hindsight, it makes sense now how the anime is actually highlighting a character per arc, and I totally missed it. I like that when that happens. I've been complaining about the cheesy, idealistic moments, but they play an important role in building up Pride's character. It is what makes the people around her love her more. And it's funny when I was about to think it's still not officially a reverse harem, the last episode totally proved me wrong. They really intended to make it obvious for good measures. lol You just have to watch if you still haven't.

Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime
With an upcoming Season 2 in January 2026
It's 2020, and Mizuha's seventeenth birthday is the pits. Her dad forgot, the sempai she likes isn't interested, and her social calendar is getting cleared out by a mysterious virus. But when her longtime childhood friend asks her out, Mizuha has to sort out what this change could mean. And her feelings may not be the only ones changing...! Romance stands up to a global pandemic in this series about how to maintain the hopes and joys of high school life when everything is upended. But romance is resilient, and crushes and confessions flourish among Mizuha's friends. A brand-new school love story from the author of I Fell in Love After School!
Mar 27, 2025 Ep 1-11- II wasn’t hyped for this anime and braced myself for boredom. Honestly, for the first few episodes, I even questioned if it was a reverse harem at all. But around episode 4, things started shifting (especially the ending!) and I unexpectedly got into it! It has a slice-of-life-ish, very atmospheric, and makes me feel all the feels. Now, at episode 11, I feel like I’m suspended in time, that this is going to be in one of my all-time favorites. I don’t want to watch the finale yet because sometimes, finales are deal-breakers for me. And for once, I’m hoping it ends ambiguously since my ships are clearly sinking. The only thing that didn’t feel believable was how these high schoolers were already all nostalgic about their youth. Like, in high school, aren’t we all just excited to grow up? But then again, considering the pandemic and it being their final year, okay, self, point taken.
(I just remembered that I did not write ep 12 for this. 😅 I wasn't disappointed with the ending, so my feelings for the anime stay the same.)

The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent Season 2 anime
The Saint's Reviews S1 and light novels
Could workaholic office lady Sei be a legendary Saint? Not according to the crown prince of another world who summoned her and quickly declared a different girl was the real Saint! That suits Sei just fine--she would much rather spend her days quietly helping people with her unbelievably powerful magic. But how long can Sei live her ideal life of leisure before her true nature is revealed?
Oct 8, 2023 S2 Ep 1 - The opening is so powerful, while overall the episode is so vibey again. One of the key strengths of the anime is direction because it's just so damn good at creating this feel-good, relaxed mood. The trailer shows a second set of bishonen, which of course does not necessarily mean reverse harem. I don't get this, just like in Sugar Fairy Apple Tale.
Nov 10, 2023 S2 Ep 2-5- We have met Oscar from the first episode. The second (Seiran), third (Rayne), and fourth (Tenyuu) new bishonens also make an appearance in the succeeding episodes. We see glimpses of flirtation from Johan, obsession from Yuri, and hope from Jude. And I like it even how insignificant or small it is because we all know there's only one end game. And she even has fanservice-y dances with the original set, including Erhar,t who's just grunting. The story is not too complicated, and I'm not complaining, but I'll say it again and again, this is just relaxing and easy to watch. And I don't think I have this same feeling for any other anime. We're just like the guys who want to protect her.
Jan 15, 2024 S2 Eps 6-12 (completed) Here I am thinking that it's just going to be just chill episodes, but we get cool episodes, especially the extermination. Now that the marriage is in the table, we are finally getting reverse harem situations with the bishies. Drewes is making the moves! I can now stop calling this a kinda reverse harem. It was a fitting closure I never thought we needed. But I still felt sad that it ended with Fin and was not to be continued.

RUSH TO THE ROYAL CANDY FAIR!Anne Halford is a candy crafter determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a Silver Sugar Master―a title bestowed only by royalty―by winning first place in the Royal Candy Fair. The journey to the capital will be dangerous, however, so she purchases Challe, a handsome but foulmouthed fairy, to be her bodyguard. Anne wishes to befriend her new companion, but in this kingdom where fairies are treated as property, Challe wants nothing to do with humans. Will this journey with her change his mind? And will Anne arrive safely at the fair?
First Impression of Ep 1-3 Originally posted on January 26, 2023. Is it a reverse harem? The anime clearly has a main guy, but the marketing is implying a reverse harem. Just watch the promotional video and the second episode's ending credits with the group photo above. But do not be deceived by this strategy. These were already pulled off by The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent and Bibliophile Princess, and look where it got us, I mean me. So take it with a grain of salt. Four bishonen have appeared so far as of the third episode, and it's not clear yet if they will be comrades or competition or what. But nevertheless, this is the kind of fantasy shojo I've been waiting for a long time. Before we proceed, there might be some slight spoilers because I can't help myself.
The premise is problematic, but later on, Anne acknowledged the fact that she is naive for thinking humans and fairies should be friends, and yet she purchased Challe. There is a confusing master and slave dynamics. It's uncomfortable but funny at the same time. Like killing Myrthil Lil Pod if she orders it. And oh, there's an age gap too. Like a centuries-old gap. I bet this is not what you expected when you first saw the cute, colorful visuals and dessert imagery concocted from sweet sugar apples. Me neither. There are serious themes and dark undertones, which are a contrast to the humor, colorful palettes, and dreamlike watercolor background. I was also expecting Anne to be your perfect, good-girl heroine, but her demeanor caught me off guard.
The first three episodes are compelling, which I haven't seen in a long time for shojo. The storyline and build-up between the two leads really did it for me. So here's my bold prediction: I will definitely finish this, reverse harem or not!
The following were mini-reviews on Patreon:
Feb 9, 2023 Ep. 5- The 4th tsundere bishie has appeared if we count Jonah. Loved the tug-and-war scene—the early favorite for this year.
Mar 8, 2023 Ep. 6-9 - The story has taken a dark turn, and Challe and Anne's relationship is progressing. We meet the fourth guy, I mean the third guy, excluding Jonas. The anime feels reverse harem even though it's not explicitly shown that they are interested in her romantically speaking. I think there's still one more bishonen left to make an appearance. Next to Challe, my next favorite bishie is Cat.
Apr 2, 2023 Ep. 10-12 (completed) The last bishie is totally a playboy. The anime has so many grim elements, and even the finale. The only silver lining is that it has a second cour. The reverse harem is still vague, but you can feel the tension like there's something, but it could also be nothing lol. Overall, I still loved it, but...
Aug 7, 2023 Ep 13-15 of 2nd Cour I hate to admit it, but the series has boring moments, especially when the storyline gets serious or dark. But production value is top-notch, and it goes beyond the typical challenges. There's an unexpected play of idealism and realism in the storylines as well. And what do you know, when we're still not sure of the reverse harem status of the bishies, we get to meet a second set of potential reverse harem reminiscent of otome game anime adaptations. The only girl in an all-bishonen guild, and there are a supporting (female and male) twin fairies too! I swear there's a reverse harem template written all over it.
Sep 5, 2023 Ep 16-21 of 2nd Cour-I like this arc and as usual there is a sad element, but I liked how it was handled, whereas the previous arc from the 1st cour was depressing. The latest turn of events opens up a different flow of the story, which makes it more exciting. But I don't know what happened now, but whenever Challe shows his feelings for Anne, my intrusive thoughts keep reminding me of the age difference. The bishies from the previous cour make a seamless appearance in the story.
Oct 8, 2023 Ep 22-24 of 2nd Cour complete- Amidst the colorful animation and sweets, Sugar Apple Fairy Tale likes to tackle emotions, trauma, and pain. So even if all's well that ends well, there is still some heaviness left lingering in your heart. And it's still not a reverse hare,m but it just feels right to include it as kinda reverse harem and be overprotective about it. And I can also feel it from my bones that there will be a sequel. What do you think?
