Tsukiyama is having the worst longest day of her life and to top it all, it's also her 28th birthday. But her monotonous single life will be soon be broken when she meets the four weird brothers who are behind the successful female mangaka, Hanazono.

I found no connection at all with the drama at first. The girl is such a pushover and the guys are just too weird. The opening credits feels like it was from the seventies and the song is..again weird. The subtitles are terrible. But as I've watched it I began to enjoy and laugh at HNH. I also liked the fact that it's about mangakas and we get to see how they create mangas. Editors are commonly depicted as people who pressures the artists with deadline. But if we notice in some of mangaka's talk page, their editors advises them with ideas and supports them in research or whatever. The drama was only at the latter part and it was really touching. The saving grace of the story is the bond between the brothers. Great acting by the cast except for the heroine because she's limited with her wallflower character. The only thing I like about her is her winter clothes and her small round table at her house. I want like those! Special mention to her previous female boss. I despises her at first but I was won over hilarious acting. It aired in winter 2007 the same season with "Hana Yori Dango 2". Thanks to Kevin who recommended this and "Lunch Queen".

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I was flexible with many titles where it's only one or two guys interested in the female protagonist and other gray areas. But we are now at a point where I can be strict with labeling reverse harem. Let's start with the classification of reverse harem-ness. This is for my sake too if in case I run off course again. 1. Five Flowers - This is literally reverse harem. I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode.
