Ange is a rural girl prophesied as the Legendary Etoile. As the Etoile she must save the universe of the Holy Beast with the help of Queen Angelique and the guardians. If you don't have any experience with "Angelique" game, the story is clearer among the rest of the animes. With the previous "Angelique" OVAs, I was filled with a lot of questions. You'll get to understand more the guardians as they share their feelings and past.

These guardians seems to take interest whoever is the flavor of the moment. And I thought Angelique is the apple of their eyes and now it's Ange! Hmmp! I guess since Angelique was chosen as the queen she can't marry and she'll be a spinster. And whatever happened to Oscar and Angelique angle? As I've said I have a lot of hanging issues. It's deja vu when Oscar calls Ange ojou-chan. But anyway, at least here in the series a guardian confessed his love. There is a sequel and I'm wishing Ange ends up with someone! The younger guardians are about to come of age with Zephel’s fluctuating hormones and Marcel’s voice. Angelique looked older as well.

The episodes are stretched out but overall the series improved. Of course it would be incomplete without the guardian’s successive, individual gasps or the nine different versions of saying the name “Ange".

Though I feel like in the anime, they really try to fit all guardians story to very little eps, so it was kinda disappointing compared to the game, oh well... But still better than OVA version of course.

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
