"Shugo Chara" ("Character Eggs") 51 episodes- complete

Amu is the cool and spicy transferee in Seiyo Elementary. But beneath her image is a confused and shy girl. One day she discovers three eggs or charas which will be her would-be characters when she grows up. Then she meets the Guardians who also have charas and aim to protect students' dreams from becoming X-eggs.

I don't usually enjoy watching kiddie animes well except for 'Cardcaptor Sakura' and 'Alice Academy'. And now I can add "Shugo Chara". It's very relaxing to watch and it really does take away all of my negative energy. I also liked the cute yet cool animation and characters. It's not trying too hard to be icky girly cute. It's a long series but it never felt like it was a chore to watch. I looked forward to watching the new charas, transformations, and combinations. Admit it you also make the 'My Heart Unlock' and 'Open Heart' hand signals. Lol! I'm going to file this under related animes since the guys who like Amu or vice versa are only secondary to the story. There is a missing person in the above pic, but I saw him in the teaser for the second season. I'm rooting for him or Ikuto. As for the charas, I really love Su for her personality and voice. Desu!

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
