Reverse Harem Garden

  The Thousandth Man / Chunbunjjae Namja - 8 episodes Mi Jin is a gumiho, a nine-tailed fox, who must devour 1,000 livers from men in a millennium to become human or else she will disappear like a bubble. But she will only take it from a man who truly loves her and is willing to offer it to her. Will she get her thousandth man/liver before her time runs out? It's not a straight up reverse harem but if she haven't eaten all the 999 men she would have a very big harem! Of course, not all of them lived in the same era. The first half of the series did show candidates of men to fill the thousandth spot so we can still tag this under "related". It was light and fun but it just not one of my favorite dramas. But the series is short so it wasn't tedious to watch. This might be a bit spoiler-ish but with all its fun and lightness, the drama ended in a sad note which make me feel a bit empty. Not in a negative way, but in a way it haunts me and makes me sad

Hakuouki Sekkaroku 6 OVAs - completed The OVA took place during the Zuisouroku events. They decided to dress up Chizuru again as geisha to infiltrate a secret meeting. I'm sure it was just an excuse to see Chizuru all dolled up. Each episode features a shinsengumi and their point of view of what happened in the story. It was originally 5 episodes featuring Souji, Saitou, Sanosuke, Heisuke and Hijikata. Then an extra episode was added featuring Kazama. Of all the Hakuouki series, this is the most light-hearted and sweetest. This is what we fangirls have wanted them to be, alive and fawning over Chizuri's beauty. They're all affected by Chizuri but nothing beats Saito's reaction which is my favorite episode by the way. The OVA also spawned a manga adaptation.

Super Darling! by Aya Shouoto 2 volumes - ongoing Sakuya Tohno has an air-like presence. Literally, no one can see her. She makes a wish with the thousand-year old sakura tree for happiness and then right then and there 4 new students shows up all fighting to be her fated person. I thought it's going to be just a fluffy manga but Aya Shouto once again dazzles us with her frilly drawings and flair for the supernatural. 

Himegimi to Sanbiki no Kemono (The Princess and the Three Beasts) by Mitsubachi Miyuki 4 volumes (complete) Violet is the 6th generation princess of the Kingdom of Alba. She becomes the target of the thieves known as the three beasts: Crow, Snake and Fox. I find the exploits of the day a bit boring and I find the conflict and build up to the romance a bit slow.  But I like the character designs. I read the 1st chapter before but I was only able to pick it up again because it had similarity with my favorite ongoing anime, Kamisama Hajimemashita.(which will be on a separate future entry :D ) And inspired with the beasts theme, I've created a tag "beast" for other reverse harem works with supernatural beasts or animal transformations that you might want to check out.

The winner for Arcana couple poll is the Liberta and Felicita tandem. Personally, I think the storyline favors Nova so I was surprised that Liberta is actually more popular.
