News Round Up: Nil Admirari anime, Trick or Alice 2nd PV , Idolish 7 anime and more!

Otome game, Nil Admirari no Tenbin: Teito Genwaku Kitan, will be animated. More info on MAL. Here's the synopsis:

The Taishou era didn't end in 15 years, but went on for another 25. In order to protect her waning family, a girl resolves to marry a man she doesn't even know the name of. However, just before the marriage was to take place, the girl's younger brother mysteriously committed suicide by self-immolation and was found holding an old book in his hands. Appearing before the bewildered young girl was the "Imperial Library Intelligence Asset Management Bureau," more commonly referred to as "Fukurou." According to these men, there exists "Maremono," which are books that greatly affect their readers. On top of that, ever since the incident involving the girl's younger brother, she unwittingly gains the ability to see "Auras" (the sentiments of the Maremono which manifest as bright lights and are usually invisible to humans). It was as though fate were trying to drag the young girl in its flames. And then, even though apprehensive, the girl chooses to venture outside her bird cage. Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

Anyway, I'm Falling In Love With You Vol. 1 by Haruka Mitsui Mizuho grew up with her friends in Koigama Highland. The springtime of her youth awaits her as she turns seventeen. I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. I was flexible with many titles where it's only one or two guys interested in the female protagonist and other gray areas. But we are now at a point where I can be strict with labeling reverse harem. Let's start with the classification of reverse harem-ness. This is for my sake too if in case I run off course again. 1. Five Flowers - This is literally reverse harem. The heroine has a harem of her own in her inner chamber. And we only have one example for this, manga and drama, Ooku. UPDATE: Please check STAGES OF REVERSE HAREM for more examples.

Manga Review: Futei de Furachi na Ani desu ga

Futei de Furachi na Ani desu ga (My Handsome Brothers) by Yuki Shiraishi 5 chapters (complete) Ayumu feels like a goose with her clingy and school's popular Shiratora brothers. Only 1 chapter is available so far. I wonder if the scanlators meant duckling. Anyway, the animal reference is not something new since it's from the same mangaka who wrote other two reverse harems: Ookamidomo no Shitsukekata (wolves) and Bokura no Himitsu wo Kyouyuu shiyou ka (animal love story) . I don't remember really liking her art before but I sure do now.
