Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.

In relation with the news of Chinese adaption,  Red River live action , it will be indeed a TV series but apparently they do not have the rights for it. Aside from Red River, the light novel, Saiunkoku Monogatari will have a 50-episode TV drama too. The setting will be in China and will have a year of filming that started last March.
