Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden by Yuu Watase 6 Volumes- ongoing

This is the prequel of "Fushigi Yugi". It shows the origin of the book and the adventures of the very first priestess, Takiko. I was sad after "Fushigi Yugi" ended and I wished it could go on forever. The OVAS were also disappointing. This time I have high expectations that Genbu Kaiden will be worthy successor or erm a predecessor (im confused now lol) of the Fushigi series. I even bought my very first manga after the scanlations run out. I'm just not too keen with the ending since it's already a giveaway.

    thanks for the review. i've been debating whether or not to read the genbu kaiden series, since the series is on hiatus and all. but something been bugging me bout genbu kaiden, i couldnt remember which priestess she is in the fushigi yuugi anime. is she the one who got 'devoured' by the genbu god and then killed by her father or the one who died of old age and reunited with her warrior love when she died or am i completely rambling and confused it with different series altogether. please please answer.... or i'll have to resort to reread the whole fushigi yuugi series from the beginning. i really need to know....

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy anime-12 episodes- based on a light novel  Rishe Irmgard Weitzner is now on her 7th life after always being killed in one way or another by Prince Arnold Hein. But on the 7th time loop, her enemy has taken an interest in her. This is a mix of my first impression here on the blog, mini-impressions, and mini-review from Patreon. And with some new insights.  7th Time Loop is entertaining and exciting.  It makes you think of the possibilities and the interconnections.  Her past six lives were summarized without being long-winded but just enough to pique our curiosity. The critical timing of each action or decision will lead to different outcomes or probable "romance routes". Or so I thought. No reverse harem romance but there's a bishonen for each life. Manga Review: Alice in Bishounen-Land Vol. 2 (final volume)

Alice in Bishounen-Land Volume 2 by Yushi Kawata Art by Yukito With the help of a new member or two, Alice and the newly-rebranded idol group Triple S progresses in the battles. Disclaimer A review copy was provided by the publisher. Check out the first volume review . The first volume is so weird but trust me it gets weirder. But once you got used to the humor, everything seems funnier this time around. The randomness of the backstories, the non-stop comical situations, and cheesy jokes. I'm loving them all now including the minor characters. The one thing that balances it all out is Alice. She's the shining beacon of reason and her spot-on observations make it more laughable.    For something crazy, it briefly touches 'beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder'. And it's not in your face at all. All-Time Top Ten Reverse Harem Anime

Hello Wallflowers! I am not going to do a decade in review since I did that already a couple of years ago. but I am loooong overdue for my top 10 anime. I actually made one coincidentally a decade ago but it's a consolidated top 10 of everything from anime, manga and dramas as the titles are fewer back in 2010. I should have done it sooner but it's the nagging feeling that I should finish everything before I can post this. What if there's a hidden gem in my backlog that piled up beginning 2015 (due to pregnancy)?  Fast forward to last year and major life events later, I have finished nine anime in eight months. It felt like forever. And after that, I found out I could actually start the list even without watching the backlog. LOL But the good thing is I was able to finish it and that has put off a lot of guilt feelings from me. I mean who blogs about reverse harem and never watches past the first episode??? Sadly, I don't remember most of the story of the anime...
