News Round Up: Yuuwaku Office Lover 2 anime, La Corda college manga spinoff and more!

Smartphone app, Yuuwaku Office Lover 2 will be animated and is set to premiere on winter of 2018 through Tate Anime. Tate Anime is a video app which offers videos in vertical format and about three minute ten -episodes. Here's the game synopsis:

"The player takes on the role of a young woman who works as a CM director at an advertising agency who is removed from her dream project at the whim of a capricious new company president whom she has never met. Determined not to let this set-back bring her down, she undergoes a "Cinderella"-style makeover and meets a handsome man at a company party, only to learn that he is the president that demoted her."

Idea Factory will release Hakuōki: Edo Blossoms (Hakuōki Shinkai: Hana no Shō) this spring 2018. )The game is a sequel to Hakuōki: Kyoto Winds which IF has released last May 16. Both are remakes of the 2008 Hakuōki Shinsengumi Kitan. More information on ANN.

Ensemble Stars will have a fourth stage musical titled, Ensemble Stars On Stage: To the Shining Future. It will run from January 19-21 in Osaka and January 25- 5 in Tokyo. More information on ANN.

Anime Review: Kiskis! My Boyfriends are Mint Candies!

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

Futei de Furachi na Ani desu ga (My Handsome Brothers) by Yuki Shiraishi 5 chapters (complete) Ayumu feels like a goose with her clingy and school's popular Shiratora brothers. Only 1 chapter is available so far. I wonder if the scanlators meant duckling. Anyway, the animal reference is not something new since it's from the same mangaka who wrote other two reverse harems: Ookamidomo no Shitsukekata (wolves) and Bokura no Himitsu wo Kyouyuu shiyou ka (animal love story) . I don't remember really liking her art before but I sure do now.
