Freshest News: Story of Kunning Palace cdrama premieres tonight, 7th Time Loop anime release date + wallpaper and Dark Moon webtoon finale, prequels and sequel

The much-anticipated Story of Kunning Palace cdrama premieres tonight (November 7, 2023) on iQiyi. It was originally scheduled for release back in May.

A fallen queen, Jiang Xue Ning, who aspired to have the highest power and authority in her life, was held hostage by rebels after the king, Shen Jie, was poisoned. In this life, she used everyone around her to reach the authority of the queen, but in the end, she remained under house arrest, and Xie Wei slaughtered the entire city. Later, she received the decree to be buried with the emperor. She got a second chance to change her fate by not entering the palace, but when she woke up after rebirth, she was already messing around. Even though she vowed not to enter the palace, a certain turn of events again entangles her with the palace and Xie Wei, whom she hated the most.

The 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life anime will premiere on January 7, 2023. For the next 7 weeks, the staff will highlight a character with a voice clip, icon, wallpaper, author Q&A and more. It was announced in a special episode that Dark Moon will continue with Dark Moon: The Blood of Vargr and Dark Moon: Children of Vamfield. On its Twitter account, it has also teased Dark Moon: Two Moons.

But once you got used to the humor, everything seems funnier this time around. The randomness of the backstories, the non-stop comical situations, and cheesy jokes. I'm loving them all now including the minor characters. The one thing that balances it all out is Alice. She's the shining beacon of reason and her spot-on observations make it more laughable. For something crazy, it briefly touches 'beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder'. And it's not in your face at all. Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?
