Freshest News: The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess manga gets anime adaptation and Doctor Elise manhwa on Tapas

The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess (Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi) manga is getting an anime adaptation. The manga was originally planned to run for three issues only but became a regular serialization after positive responses from readers. Yen Press has licensed the manga in English. Source: MAL

Konoha Satou has a dark history, written throughout middle school—a fantasy adventure of love and magic about the Count’s daughter Konoha Magnolia and the knights who love her! But when it looks like that dark history is going to be uncovered by her mother, Konoha panics and dies in a traffic accident! It is not a confirmed reverse harem but: 1.) It's tagged as a reverse harem on Manga Updates. 2.) Look at the manga covers and the commemorative illustration of the anime announcement from the mangaka above. 3.) Goodreads comments said: Who do I ship Iana with? Three of the four little bonuses were good. I don’t like her fiancé, but ship Sol, Yomi and the police detective. She can be with them. I don’t normally harem, but in this case it’s so hard to choose, so why try?

Doctor Elise is now on Tapas as of February 13, 2024. It is also available on Lezhin. It was first licensed in English on Tappytoon but is currently no longer available. The anime is currently airing. See First Impression.

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kiskis! My Boyfriends are Mint Candies!

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I was flexible with many titles where it's only one or two guys interested in the female protagonist and other gray areas. But we are now at a point where I can be strict with labeling reverse harem.
