Reverse Harem Garden

Men of the Harem -   Adapted by Herelee and Art by Yeongbin/based on webnovel by Alphatart The prologue starts with Latrasil as newly- crowned emperor. But instead of choosing a consort, she decided to create a harem of concubines just like what the previous male rulers have done in the past. Will her harem help her get revenge on her old lover and secure her throne? Based on webnovel. This is currently being published on Webtoon. For uniformity, I will refer to all scrolling online comics or manga or manhwa as webcomics but I may slip and use it interchangeably with webtoons.  The reverse harem is seven but officially it's five who signed the papers and all as concubines. There's Klein, the prince of Karisen; Ranamun, eldest son of Duke Atraxil; Guest Rhodes, second son of chancellor of Tharium; Tasir, heir to the richest trading company; and Carlein, King of Mercenaries.  There are dark themes but for the most part, it's fun with no lull moments. Maybe it’s too p...

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes  The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma.  This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW,  My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director.   It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt.   The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with  15 minutes runtime per episode.  This is the last of my backlog reviews from a couple of years ago. And what are the odds it would fit perfectly in the  Stages of Reverse Harem . It is meant to be.   Love Reverse Harem Garden? Follo...

Omameda Towako lives just fine with her daughter. She's also recently appointed as president of a construction company. But her life is still entangled with her three ex-husbands. One she married suddenly, the second for comedy and the last for fantasy...from the words of her father.  The start shows a montage of mishaps that await Omameda. The voiceover reminds me of Kamisama Hajimemata while the dialogues remind me of Niosiosin's  Pretty Boy Detective Club light novel. The storytelling is unusual but fun and rhetorical. The exchanges are rapid at times particularly between the second and third ex-husbands that half the time I don't absorb the wisdom they are trying to impart if there is one. It's a mishmash of random stuff that comes in perfect synchronicity of idiosyncrasies. What do I even mean? The second episode starts with the latest ex-husband's backstory (Nakamura) and then works on its way up to the second ex-husband (Sato) in the third episode. Obviously,...

This is the record-breaking number of dramas in one season! Nine reverse harem dramas not including 300 Year-Old Class of 2020 which seems like a promotional show? I can't see myself doing one review at a time. It's going to take me forever so I'll review them in one go. I have yet to finish cdramas: Celestial Authority Academy, In Love With Your Dimples and Unique Lady/Lascivious Lady Season 2. Those are 20+ episodes each.  It's also hard to rank them as they have different formats but I've grouped them according to country of origin. Some are super short whilst others are just right. There were some that I loved but the ending left me sad. And there was one or maybe two that are not a reverse harem! Reverse harem baiting!!! asdfjisojgjrjgk And there's one drama where the heroine didn't choose anyone! Now, now...not gonna tell which drama was that. *evil laugh* kdramas Coincidentally, all these  dramas are   short and didn't disappoint. Okay, there'...

Mayumi Dojima is ready to say goodbye to her childhood dream as she turns 14. Then she meets the Pretty Boy Detective Club, an unlikely bunch of beautiful boys, who will help her to find that one thing that sparked her dream before she bids it farewell.  Warning! It's not a reverse harem as of episode 3 but after covering the news from the time the anime adaptation was first announced, I feel like I have to take responsibility and provide still a First Impression. If in the future it does end up as officially not a reverse harem anime this may fall under Related Review like with Light Novel Review of Volume 1.    If there are references or inside jokes with the author's other works it is a loss for me as this is my first Nisio Isin. But it's already a given that this will be compared to Ouran High School Host Club . Club of  eccentric,  beautiful boys . Check. Gender Bender . Check. Opulent club room. Check. Also, Maaya Sakamoto both voiced Haruhi and Mayumi. B...
