"Beauty Pop" by Kiyoko Aria 6 volumes

Kiri Koshiba has a talent for hairstyling. But she's nonchalant about it much to the chagrin of the "Scissors Project" members who dream of becoming the number 1 in the field of beauty-making in Japan. I was hooked at the start but became bored with it because the romance never bloomed and the magic of the makeover contests eventually faded. I like the cutout designs on the covers with the small scissors. I'm not yet done with "Beauty Pop Stage 2" which is the continuation of Volumes 7-10. I hope the romance factor will be addressed.

    @Tartza: For other titles, I look for the scanlator groups (through mangaupdates). Sometimes you have to register at their forums and they'll give you access to downloads after reaching a certain amount of posts. I don't post their sites because some are strict about links etc. But I'll ask permissions and hopefully I can update my resources soon.

    Ive checked and most of the mangas are now available in Onemanga and/or Mangafox. I've provided the links in my resources of the remaining 8 titles that are not on both sites. Hope that helps. :) There are only few mangas available here in our country as well. =/

    Hey, well, I don't know if I should post here or anywhere else, because my post has nothing to do with the manga or the discussing, but in the moment, I don't care :P
    First I have that your blog is great and good work with reading and watching all of them. Respect! And: REVERSE HAREMS ARE THE BEST !!! :D
    So now my real intention for posting. Well, it's more like ... arrr it doesn't matter!
    There is a manga calles . I don't even know if you can call it a reverse harem, because there are girls, but in the main story they aren't important, so I don't know, that's why please decide on your own ;).
    It is a really simple and short story and the characters look like monkeys, but I think the simple way of the story isn't bad either, because it has that typical shoujo-story scheme which has an expected end, but that makes the end not disappointing. And that is an often problem!
    Thanks for your blog and I hope that my post wasn't to awful to read ;D

Anime Review: Kiskis! My Boyfriends are Mint Candies!

Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

Manga Review: Monster and Parent Vol. 2

Monster and Parent Vol. 2   manga story and art by: Ichi Sayo Saika is adjusting to her new life with her family, friends, and godling. But the threat of godeaters looms and an incident causes her godling, Squeak, to be unhappy with her. I'm hoping it happens in the succeeding volumes. The godeaters deal is still vague and they are wishy-washy in handling it but it was addressed near the end.
