Light Novel Summary: When book-loving Lady Elianna spots Prince Christopher—her betrothed in name only—consorting with another noble lady, she realizes the recent rumors must be true. The prince has someone he truly loves, which means the annulment of their engagement is both inevitable and fast-approaching. What she doesn’t realize is that this is merely a surface ripple—one of many where the truth runs deep, in a conspiracy surpassing her imagination!

Dekinai Futari: Dizukyun-hen jdrama aired last January 1, 2022. It is based on manga, Dekinai Futari. (This falls under three flowers. See Levels of Reverse Harem. Updated under Winter 2022)

Shirafuji Nao and Kurose Takahito joined a web advertising company at the same time and often exchange abusive words and compete in sales every day. Actually, Nao and Kurose were a couple back in high school but they broke up in a very bad way due to the words used by Kurose at that time. Nao was traumatised by those words and is unable to experience new love since then. One day, Nao and Kurose team up together reluctantly to participate in a large scale competition. Although they continue to fight and complain, the time spent together increases and slowly their relationship starts to change after 7 years.

Beautiful Men Have Thorns comics to be released on January 29 on Pocket Comics. Also available on Coolmic. (Added under Winter 2022)

As a result of the divine spirits’ protection, Agnes has an unusual and often embarrassing power: whenever she experiences strong emotions, she makes mushrooms sprout on people! One day, her royal fiancé, who claims to have dragon’s blood, breaks off his engagement to Agnes claiming to have found his true soulmate. Her reputation tarnished, Agnes vows to return to commoner life, when she’s unexpectedly summoned to a ball by her ex-fiancé’s cousin, a prince who is far from horrified by her mushrooming him. “This is fate! I promise you, it’s no spore-of-the-moment decision! My morels are not questionable! You and I would make the mushiest couple imaginable! Would you marry me?” Agnes has a lot to deal with: her personal “flaws”, an endless onslaught of mushrooms, and the attentions of a prince with a serious fungal fetish. Can Agnes get through this and face up to her true self, or will it all prove just a little too mush?

All-Time Top Ten Reverse Harem Anime

Hello Wallflowers! I am not going to do a decade in review since I did that already a couple of years ago. but I am loooong overdue for my top 10 anime. I actually made one coincidentally a decade ago but it's a consolidated top 10 of everything from anime, manga and dramas as the titles are fewer back in 2010. I should have done it sooner but it's the nagging feeling that I should finish everything before I can post this. What if there's a hidden gem in my backlog that piled up beginning 2015 (due to pregnancy)? Fast forward to last year and major life events later, I have finished nine anime in eight months. It felt like forever. And after that, I found out I could actually start the list even without watching the backlog. LOL But the good thing is I was able to finish it and that has put off a lot of guilt feelings from me. I mean who blogs about reverse harem and never watches past the first episode??? Sadly, I don't remember most of the story of the anime...

Reverse Harem Anime Catch-Up Marathon: Nil Admirari, Yume 100, Dame x Prince, Scared Rider Xechs and Magic-Kyun

My marathon started in March of last year with two seasons of B-Project , fourth/last season Uta Prince No Sama and Phantom of Twilight . I usually blog my review before I start with watching the next anime but at the rate I'm going it will take me forever to get it all done. I decided to watch the remaining anime one after another without blogging and I finished it all by December. The last time I had this marathon was from the time I first discovered reverse harem. But unlike before, this time I feel like I was losing my mind and I'm going to quit watching reverse harem anime for good. Well almost. The only way for me to blog all these anime would be in one go...again. I'm just going to keep 'em all short. Disclaimer: As usual I have not played any of the games.
