News Round Up: Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie anime, Strobe Edge cast, English Quinrose's Alice & a whole lot more

The mobile app game, "Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie", gets an anime adaptation. The anime will start on October. More info from ANN. The original story follows Sayuri Haruno, a girl who attends an elite confectionery school Fleurir on a scholarship to follow her dream to open a pastry shop. There she meets several charming young men.

The upcoming "Akatsuki no Yona" anime will air on October. More info and more character designs at CR.

Fukushi Sota and Arimura Kasumi have been casted as Ichinose Ren and Kinoshita Ninako. In the second photo are Arimura Kasumi (Ando Takumi), Sato Arisa (Korenaga Mayuka), Irie Jingi (Korenaga Daiki) and Kuroshima Yuina (Sugimoto Mao). The shooting of the film began last August 1 and is scheduled to be shown on March 2015. More info from Tokyohive. I hope the movie will keep the same storyline of Daiki having feelings for Ninako to keep the reverse harem element.

The otome "Alice in the Heart~ Wonderful Wonder World ~" has been released in English for iOS and Android devices. The opening and first episodes for each characters are free. The rest are paid. More info from ANN.

"Hiiro no Kakera 4" is also available at iOS and Android via "Shall We Date". This is old news but I remembered this from Lijakaca's tweet.

Shun Oguri and Ikuta Toma reunites after 8 years since Hana Kimi in a TV drama, Ouroboros. The drama will air on January 2015. More info from Tokyohive.

I'm super excited about KamiKiss season 2! I'm also pretty interested in the Ao Haru Ride movie because I really like Fukushi Sota. That Bonjour Koiaji Patissiere looks kind of cute! I used to love YumePati so it gives me kind of nostalgic feelings.
Anyway, I really appreciate all the news updates you post! It makes it so much easier to keep track of all the reverse harem shows I want to look out for.

But once you got used to the humor, everything seems funnier this time around. The randomness of the backstories, the non-stop comical situations, and cheesy jokes. I'm loving them all now including the minor characters. The one thing that balances it all out is Alice. She's the shining beacon of reason and her spot-on observations make it more laughable. For something crazy, it briefly touches 'beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder'. And it's not in your face at all. Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?
