News Round Up: KamiKiss 2 new OADs and new musical, Akagami OAD and more!

There will be two more OADs from "Kamisama Hajimemashita". The first episode is "Kamisama, Hanayome ni Naru" ("The God Becomes a Bride") and will ship out in April 20 next year, while the second episode, "Kamisama, Mukae ni Iku" (I'll Meet Up with God") will ship out in August 19 next year.

There will also be a second musical, "Kamisama Hajimemashita The Musical 2016". It will run from January 15 to 21. More info on ANN.

"Akagami no Shirayuki-hime" ("Snow White with the Red Hair") will have an OAD with three chapters that will not be included in the ongoing anime series. The first chapter is about Shirayuki and Zen's date in the castle town, the second chapter is about Prince Raji as a child while the third chapter is about how Zen, Mitushide and Kiki first met. The OAD will ship out in January 5 of next year. More info on ANN.

Miki Aihara' manga, "Go-ji karu Ku-ji made" ("From 5 to 9") will be getting a video adaptation. It can be a moving image of anime or live action. More info on ANN. (I only read the first chapter before, I'm not completely sure if this is RH)

"Dance with Devils" manga will be released on September which is earlier than the anime release on October. From ANN.

Here's the cast of the musical, Hana Yori Dango. Ririka Koto bested 3,000 girls to play Makino. The play opens on January of next year. From: ANN

The otome spinoff of American drama Gossip Girl will also get an English release as "Gossip Girl: Style Your Love". It will be available on iOs and Android on September.

Maki Horikita marries Yamamoto Koji after two months of dating. The two first met in "Atashinchi no Danshi" but they started dating when they are reunited for the stage play "Arashigaoka". Kiskis! My Boyfriend are Mint Candies!- 4 episodes Tang Tang meet guys who each represent a flavor of mint candies. It has a catchy, cute opening. At first there's a different feel on it which I can't pinpoint. And then I realized that they are talking in Chinese! This is my first completed Chinese animation. Well since it was way too easy to finish it. It's 5-minute ONA for 4 episodes. I think this premiered last June 4. But the first Chinese animation I watched is still currently airing (unconfirmed reverse harem), Phantom in the Twilight, which is a collaboration between Japan and China. Oh back to back Chinese reviews after The Flame's Daughter. Is China going to be booming with reverse harem now?

I Have Three Boyfriends kdrama- 10 episodes The story starts with Ra Hee going on a date after another with her three boyfriends. She's frantically trying not to get caught. The drama will unravel how she got herself into this dilemma. This is the first reverse harem I've seen about cheating female main character. Certainly, this is bound to happen in reverse harem. BTW, My favorite boyfriend is the domineering director. It was not believable at first but it got me hooked. The story is milking the coincidences to the hilt. The ending is unexpected and here all along I was under the impression that it's going to be open-ended. Sorry, to keep this review short as it's a short drama with 15 minutes runtime per episode. Anime Review: Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA and Kako-Hen

Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA It consists of two 15-minute-ish episodes. The first episode is based on the manga while the second one is an original story. In the first episode, Tomoe is keeping a secret from Nanami, while in the second episode Tomoe and Nanami go on a trip. It's just appetizers so I recommend watching this first before the main course which is Kako Hen. Kamisama Hajimemashita Kako Hen- ( Kamisama Kiss Past Arc) It consists of five OVAs that were bundled on different volumes. Tomo is afflicted with a curse and the only way to save him is for Nanami to travel back in time.
