DMM Games' raising simulation game for female, Bungo To Alchemist, will have an anime adaptation titled Bungo to Alchemist - Shinpan no Haguruma - (Literary Greats and Alchemists - The Gears of Judgment -). It is set to premiere this spring. Synopsis:
The story of Bungo to Alchemist is set in a world where great works of literature have the power to move people's hearts. However, literature itself is under threat by "Invader", a malevolent force born of negative human emotion that seeks to erase these great works from humanity's collective memories. Only "Alchemists" - reincarnated authors with special abilities - have the power to defend the world of literature from "Invader".
Source: Crunchyroll 1, 2 (This is not a confirmed reverse harem anime. Technically not freshest news, but the additional cast was announced recently.)
UPDATE 1: Ooops no romance, please see comments. Thanks Hagane productio!
P.S.
Please also join the survey of which titles I should review first. Thanks!
Reverse Harem Garden shirts are now available on Amazon .
BunAl (Bungou to Alchemist) is like Touken Ranbu; not reverse harem. It's an educational game about historical authors turned into handsome 2D guys, but due to the fact how they are basically real people (who have died quite recently too) brought back to life, any sort of romantic elements would be really questionable as they have close relatives alive and they are aware of the game (there's been interviews with them and the game's developers). Not to mention there's no proper interaction between you and the characters anyways beside some main story dialogue where you just make brief comments. The player is treated as gender-neutral too for various reasons (even though it's clearly aimed more for girls because of handsome anime guys).
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for letting me know. I was really dubious with Crunchyroll calling it as otome game like they did with Twisted Wonderland.
