The end result is that Kae Serinuma (Nonoka Yamaguchi) suddenly becomes popular at school. Four pretty male students fall for Kae Serinuma. The four boys are Asuma Mutsumi (Hokuto Yoshino), Yusuke Igarashi (Fuju Kamio), Nozomu Nanashima (Asahi Ito) and Hayato Shinomiya (So Okuno).

Synopsos from MDL: Xue Wenxi comes from a poor family, and disguises as a guy to make ends meet by helping to transcript and copywrite books. She meets Feng Chengjun, the son of Prime Minister Yun, who acknowledges her talents. Feng Chenjun secretly planned a setup so that Xue Wenxi was appointed by the Emperor, and enrolled in the Yun Shang Academy which only accepts male students. There, she befriends the rebellious and unrestrained Yu Yuexuan and the cold and aloof Lei Zexin. The four become known as the "Yun Shang Quartet" and assists the Emperor in managing the country.

Matsumoto Chiaki is a 38-year-old woman who got married at 24 and divorced at 35. As she's almost 40, she decides to try a dating app and meet various types of men to recover the youth she lost from her early marriage.

7. Lascivious Lady or Unique Lady Season 2 cdrama
Release Date: December 24, 2020

Season 1 synopsis from Drama Review: Lin Luo Jing tries an otome game and then finds herself inside the game as the main character/player. The object of the game is to find true love. Will she find it from the four characters? There's the irritating royalty (Zhong Wu Mei), a rich playboy (Jin Chen), a bodyguard with a secret (Liu Xiu Wen) and a mysterious ethereal man (Hua Ying Chi).

Synopsis from MDL: Momay is 2000 years old. For centuries she has never aged, never gotten sick, and never died. Having tried hundreds of methods to kill herself over and over again and always failing, Momay finally sees a ray of light at the end of the tunnel when her friend, Krateng, who is a fortuneteller, tells her that she will be able to age and pass on if she finds the love of her life within this year. Synopsis from Asianwiki: "Raise de wa Chanto Shimasu" follows the sexual lives of five people, including Momoe Omori (Rio Uchida), who work at CG production company Studio Delta. Momoe Omori is 27-years-old and single. She has intimate relationships with five male friends. She thinks of physical intimacy as a hobby that doesn't cost money.

The verdict: As of ep 3, the story has five POVs but the main character is Momoe.



2. "To All The Boys P.S. I Still Love You" | movie | based on book

Synopsis from Asianwiki: Shintaro Ando (Alan Shirahama) has become Noble Dori after various confrontations. Now, the noble group, who are led by Shintaro Ando, has battles over the title of Legend (“Densetsu”) against the prince group, who are led by Kanade Suzaku (Ryota Katayose).




4. The Chang'an Youth drama 24 episodes

 Synopsis from MDL: Shen Yi Yi lives in the city and has excellent cooking skills. When she was young, she was friends with Shen Die Yi. Die Yi abruptly dies of a cough and her life remains a mystery. In order to repay her friendship with Die Yi, Yi Yi poses as Die Yi and heads to Chang’an Lu Xing to fulfill the marriage contract. As well, she wants to find out the truth behind Die Yi’s life. In order to delay the marriage, Yi Yi dresses up like a man and enters the Shangyi Guan alongside with Die Yi’s fiancĆ©, Tang Jiu Hua. They also meet Yang Zi An who was ordered by the emperor to hide his identity and enter Shangyi Guan. Together, Shen Yi Yi, Yang Zi An, Tang Jiu Hua, second prince Li Xin Yuan and swordsman Du Gu Mu Xue solve many strange cases. They face the embassy of the East Kingdom, and form the “five sons of Shangyi Guan”, becoming famous in all of Chang’an. Together, the five must ride out the difficulties and bring peace to the kingdom.

    There’s a new drama on Netflix called ‘Julie and the phantoms.’ I don’t think it’s reverse harem but it is a girl being in a band with a bunch of guys and the guys look cute

Year in Review 2017

from Kenka Bancho Otome And just like that it's time for Year in Review again. While doing the review, I realized it was a slow year for reverse harem shows and movies. We only had four animes:  Kenka Bancho Otome: Girl Beats Boys, Code Realize, Ikemen Sengoku and Dance with Devils: Fortuna movie, which are all otome game adaptations. The rest of the Winter 2018 anime shows will be airing next year: Idolish 7 Dame X Prince, Yuuwaku Office Lover 2 and Gekijouban Tokimeki Restaurant ☆☆☆ MIRACLE 6. For dramas, we have Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu jdrama, Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu movie and Five which are manga adaptations. I'm not sure yet with Seizei Ganbare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi and Good Morning Call Our Campus Days. And oh yeah we have one American TV show, She's Gotta Have it.

But on the 7th time loop, her enemy has taken an interest in her. This is a mix of my first impression here on the blog, mini-impressions, and mini-review from Patreon. And with some new insights.  7th Time Loop is entertaining and exciting.  It makes you think of the possibilities and the interconnections.  Her past six lives were summarized without being long-winded but just enough to pique our curiosity. The critical timing of each action or decision will lead to different outcomes or probable "romance routes". Or so I thought. No reverse harem romance but there's a bishonen for each life. All-Time Top Ten Reverse Harem Anime

Hello Wallflowers! I am not going to do a decade in review since I did that already a couple of years ago. but I am loooong overdue for my top 10 anime. I actually made one coincidentally a decade ago but it's a consolidated top 10 of everything from anime, manga and dramas as the titles are fewer back in 2010. I should have done it sooner but it's the nagging feeling that I should finish everything before I can post this. What if there's a hidden gem in my backlog that piled up beginning 2015 (due to pregnancy)?  Fast forward to last year and major life events later, I have finished nine anime in eight months. It felt like forever. And after that, I found out I could actually start the list even without watching the backlog. LOL But the good thing is I was able to finish it and that has put off a lot of guilt feelings from me. I mean who blogs about reverse harem and never watches past the first episode??? Sadly, I don't remember most of the story of the anime...
